Michelle Matthews is a native of Washington, DC and has lived in Georgia since 2006. Mrs. Matthews is the founder of The Atlanta Center for Professional Development. Mrs. Matthews began her career in the field of early childhood education as a volunteer with the Even Start program. She went on to teach 1st grade with the District of Columbia Public School system. Upon moving to Georgia, Mrs. Matthews became a Trainer, Mentor Coach Specialist and Technical Assistant. Mrs. Matthews received her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management at Columbia Union College and her Masters in New Professional Studies and Teaching at George Mason University in Fairfax,Virginia.
